Jason Dodge (*1969, lives on Møn) has been making exhibitions in galleries, museums, biennials, art centers, and artist run spaces since the late 1990's. In 2012 Dodge founded and continues to edit the poetry imprint Fivehundred places.
Recent solo exhibitions include Tomorrow I walked to a dark black star, MUDAM, Luxemburg, 2024; Grazer Kunstverein 2024; Cut Door in the Wolf, MACRO, Rome, 2021; They lifted me into the sun and packed my empty skull in cinnamon, Akwa Ibom, Athens, 2020; Guimaraes, Vienna, 2020; MOREpublishers with Gevaert Editions, Brussels; and Gern en Regalia, New York 2020.
Other exhibitions include: Neubauer Collegium for Culture and Society, Chicago, 2018; Schinkel Pavillon, Berlin, 2017.
Dodge co-curated Enemy of the Stars with Krist Gruijthuijsen at KW Institute, Berlin 2017, and has participated in biennials in Venice, Lyon, Liverpool, Porto Alegre and the current Baltic Triennial.
Dodge’s work is held in many public collections including: Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; The National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.; Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York; LACMA, Los Angeles; Astrup Fearnley Museum, Oslo; Moderna Museet, Stockholm; MUDAM, Luxemberg; Castello de Rivoli, Turin; Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin and IAC Vuillerbanne.
