Marcel Weishäupl: Business Basics for artists
Ort:
- Online
13th of January 2023, 10 am-2pm and 16th of January, 2 pm-6 pm
Numerous non-genuinely artistic areas characterize the everyday working life of artists: There are invoices to be written, tax returns to be filed, insurances and contracts to be concluded. But what does an invoice actually have to contain? How do you get a tax number and what is the difference between sales tax and income tax? The range of topics covered in this workshop includes setting up a business, contracts, taxes and insurance, as well as self-management for artists. Great attention is paid to practical relevance and comprehensibility.
This workshop will be held in the summer semester 2023 under the title Business Basics für Künstler*innen in German.
Marcel Weishäupl studied music and economics. In addition to his work as a freelance musician, he coaches artists ranging from entrepreneurs to established artists. He sees himself as a mediator between the artist's everyday life and economic aspects or conditions.
Registration (for max. 15 participants) from 4 December 2022 here.
Workshop places will be allocated according to the order of registration.
Participation is only possible if you plan to attend all dates.
This workshop is aimed at HFBK students in their final year and graduates up to 5 years after graduation.
