Current Opening Hours
Tuesday and Thursday 10-12 o'clock and 13-15 o'clock and individually by appointment
During opening hours, a table is placed at the glass door in the anteroom to the offices in rooms 01, 04a and 04b or in the door to room 06a as a boundary, so that direct access to the offices is not possible. Visitors* draw attention to themselves with a table bell and are served directly at the table by the staff.
There should be no more than 2-3 waiting visitors* in the corridor on the ground floor of Wartenau. For larger groups the backyard serves as a waiting area.
Students who lack the means to meet their own living costs and education costs have a right to individual student support according to the German federal law for support of education, the BAföG (Bundesausbildungsförderungsgesetz).
BAföG is basically meant
for German citizens, but foreign students may be awarded BAföG support
if they meet certain criteria (e.g. accepted asylum seekers, foreigners
with permanent residency in Germany).
Applications can be made to the BAföG-Amt.
The § 9-certificate which
you will need to produce at the BAföG office to prove your enrollment or
re-registration at the HFBK will arrive together with the
registration documents which we will send after payment of the semester
