16.5.2025, 10:00 – 23:00 Uhr
Friday: Cine*Ami*es. On Friendship. With Film
Venue:
- Kino der HFBK Hamburg
The day starts with debate: How is cyberfeminism evolving, and what traces has it left behind? The afternoon belongs to film – with encounters between desires, tensions, and surreal beings. In the evening, Ute Holl and Peter Ott discuss their film DIE AMITIÉ, offering answers to film*friendship – only to raise new questions. And then? Then friendship erupts into celebration: Leaky Loops, heavy bass, flickering lights – this is the party of the year.

- Panel: Open Threads of Cyberfeminism
What remains of cyberfeminism – and what can be rewoven? This panel traces the open threads of feminist networks formed at and around the HFBK, extending into our digital present. In the lecture performance Open Threads. Loose Ends of Cyberfeminist Failure, Malin Kuht revisits the tensions, conflicts, and utopian impulses of the Old Boys Network (OBN), one of the first international cyberfeminist alliances, using archival material and excerpts from the very video of their final 2001 conference in Hamburg. In conversation with Chris Regn, Janine Sack, and Claudia Reiche, the discussion turns to collective practices – in filmmaking, digital culture, and feminist activism. What can we learn from rupture? And what happens when we try to pick up threads that were never fully tied off?
Lecture Performance by Malin Kuht: Open Threads. Lose Fäden cyberfeminisitischen Scheiterns.
With Chris Regn, Janine Sacks, Claudia Reiche. Moderation: Elisa Linseisen

Transformations, entanglements, experiments: this program brings together encounters between people, masks, and hybrid beings. It’s about performed intimacy, secret alliances, quiet rebellions – and the question of who’s really watching. Between the everyday and the absurd, trash and tragedy, unfold miniature tales of desire, roleplay, and boundary-crossing – elegant, defiant, enchanted.
