Erasmus+ contributes to the further internationalisation of higher education institutions by supporting mobility activities for academic and administrative staff in the form of short-term teaching assignments and staff training periods. Staff mobility activities may only be carried out in a country other than the country of the sending higher education institution (i.e. Germany) and other than the participant’s country of main residence.

If you are interested or full of questions, please contact Mareike Stolley.

Staff Mobility for Teaching

Through the Erasmus+ programme, guest teaching assignments at HFBK’s partner institutions can be funded. Visiting lecturers contribute to strengthening the European dimension of the host institution, enrich its teaching provision, and share their expertise with students who are unable or do not wish to study abroad.

Erasmus+ teaching assignments last a minimum of two or five days and a maximum of two months (excluding travel days). Each stay must include at least eight teaching hours per stay or per started week.

Funding is available to the following groups:

  • Professors and lecturers with a contractual affiliation to HFBK

  • Academic and artistic staff

  • Doctoral candidates who are involved in teaching
