Since 2003, the HFBK Hamburg has published a printed magazine. Initially launched as an internal newsletter focusing mainly on university-related topics, it has developed since 2009 under the name Lerchenfeld into a substantial publication.

Lerchenfeld reports on current trends in art, exhibitions, events, and projects connected to the HFBK. Through essays, interviews, and reviews, it addresses questions of art, culture, and science, engaging with contemporary debates.
