Library
The library is one of the workshops of the HFBK Hamburg and, as such, is seen as a place whose media collection inspires and catalyzes the artistic process. The collection focuses on 20th and 21st century art, supplemented by publications in the fields of art theory, cultural studies, and aesthetics.
The library is a reference library; university members can borrow a selection of media. University lecturers have the option of setting up semester collections. There are various workstations, two research PCs, and a book scanner on site.
