WE PRESENT Festival 2026 is the emerging artists festival of LICHTHOF Theater in Hamburg. It offers early-career artists the opportunity to present already premiered works again within a professional festival setting. The festival provides technical and organizational support, rehearsal supervision, an artist fee, public relations work, local, national and international visibility, as well as networking opportunities with other artists and industry professionals. The festival takes place from 24 to 27 September 2026 in Hamburg and is organized in cooperation with Thalia Theater Hamburg and ROXY Theater Birsfelden.

Who can apply?

• Emerging artists based in Hamburg

• Artists working in the independent performing arts (e.g. performance, dance, interactive formats, devised theatre, installations, participatory or digital works)

• Productions that have already premiered

• Works with a duration of 10 to 40 minutes

• Artists available from 17 to 23 September 2026 (rehearsals) and from 24 to 27 September 2026 (festival dates)

• Willingness to accept technical compromises, as multiple works are presented per evening
