The main objective of the Erasmus+ programme is to support personal and professional development in education, youth, and sports in Europe. It aims to contribute to sustainable growth, skilled jobs, social cohesion, and European identity. The priorities for 20212027 are inclusion and diversity, digital transformation, environmental protection, and democratic participation.

With the Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) and the European Policy Statement (EPS), universities have committed themselves to taking these priorities into account when implementing the Erasmus+ programme. Further information on the Erasmus+ program can be found on the website of the National Agency for Erasmus+ Higher Education Cooperation.
