Wissenschaftlich veröffentlichen in Zeiten offener Wissenschaft mit Isabella Meinecke, Dr. Ina Kaulen (Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek Hamburg)

The publication of research results is an essential task of scientists*. It is the proof of performance and creates the basis for discussions within a (professional) community. Therefore, the widest possible dissemination and reception of a publication is desirable - not only in times of a corona pandemic.
The implementation of these wishes supports a publication method called "Open Access". Free access enables users to make available and re-use digitally available scientific results and materials free of charge and without technical and legal barriers - but this is not at the expense of the authors' rights. There are still a number of uncertainties and (legal) questions regarding open access publications.
With their respective specialist knowledge from the perspective of publishers and publications (Isabella Meinecke) and their view of the legal framework and fundamentals (Ina Kaulen), the two speakers will report not only on their theoretical knowledge but also on their practical experience. Following the lectures, there will be an opportunity to ask questions.
