Matching Funds (DAAD/Karl H. Ditze Stiftung) Due to co-financing by the DAAD and the Karl H. Ditze Stiftung the university is able to award two additional achievement grants yearly.

Examenshilfe des Studentenwerks für ausländische Studierende (Student Union examination assistance for non-German students) The HFBK takes part in meetings of the Student Union to consider the giving of payments to non-German students in an exceptional state of hardship in the period before completing their final examinations. 

The Preis für hervorragende Leistungen ausländischer Studierender (DAAD), or prize for exceptional achievement by non-German students (DAAD), a sum of 1000 euros, is awarded by the President to non-German students on the occasion of the annual exhibition for exceptional achievements and special cultural/political engagement.

The Förderung der internationalen Mobilität (encouragement of international mobility) award is supported in a targeted way, with regular payments, by the Karl H. Ditze Stiftung in particular. The AG Internationales decides on the distribution of its budget.
