Achievement grants are made available by the Behörde für Wissenschaft und Forschung (Ministry of Science and Research) to non-German students. They consist of a grant of 450 euros monthly, lasting for a year.

Matching Funds (DAAD/Karl H. Ditze Stiftung) Due to co-financing by the DAAD and the Karl H. Ditze Stiftung the university is able to award two additional achievement grants yearly.  Read more »

Student Union examination assistance for non-German students (»Examenshilfe des Studentenwerks für ausländische Studierende«) The HFBK takes part in meetings of the Student Union to consider the giving of payments to non-German students in an exceptional state of hardship in the period before completing their final examinations.  

The DAAD prize for exceptional achievement by non-German students, a sum of 1000 euros, is awarded by the President to non-German students on the occasion of the semester opening in October for exceptional achievements and special cultural/political engagement. Read more Â»
