The Karl H. Ditze Stiftung has been offering an annual bursary of 600 euros a month to Master and Diploma students at the HFBK Hamburg since 2007. The purpose of this bursary is to improve study conditions for especially gifted students.

Students are put forward after being assessed by their professors. The application period falls in the early part of the year.
