Werdegang:
Studium der Physik, Kunstgeschichte, Soziologie/ Neue deutsche Literaturwissenschaft und der Visuellen Kommunikation. Produzent, Autor und Regisseur für Rundfunk und Fernsehen, Buchautor, Ausstellungen. Seit 1993 Professor für »Experimentelle Medien« an der Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg. Gastprofessor für »Medienkunst« an der Universität für Wissenschaft und Maschinenbau, Department of Arts, Wuhan/ China.

Curriculum vitae:
Matthias Lehnhardt studied physics, art history, sociology/ new German literature studies and visual communication. Worked as a producer, author and director in radio and television, as an author and on exhibitions. Since 1993, he has been a professor of »experimental media« at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg. He is also a visiting professor for »media art« at the university in Wuhan/ China, department of Arts.
