The Freundeskreis der Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg e.V. (»society of friends«, a registered association) has now been in existence for over 30 years. The private sponsors support the students financially in realising their first large artistic projects. HFBK students can present their artistic plans to the society of friends at three meetings per year.
