The textile workshop has seven workspaces with looms, a tufting room for creating carpets using flat and pile techniques and an area for textile printing. Connected to the textile area is the silk-screen printing workshop, where non-textile material can also be printed on, e.g. paper, wood, ceramics and artificial materials. Here, HFBK students have the opportunity to develop their own projects with advisory and practical guidance and to experiment with diverse materials and techniques. A requirement for independent work in the workshop, specifically in silk-screen printing, is participating in an introductory course, which takes place twice in the semester or by arrangement.
